Cognos 10 - The new version of the Cognos BI Released

If you are in the datawarehousing world you might be aware of the most widely used reporting tool COGNOS. It is one of those packages that are released from the chain of IBM. Cognos 10 just like its predecessor Cognos 8 will have all the features along with some of the highlighted things given below.

Now, after this release starts the debating of the future of cognos8. According to Industry experts, Cognos8 is not very old enough and still the hot cake in the market. Unless Cognos Report Net, cognos 8 is 2 yrs old and will be in the market for atleast 5 more yrs. But, the new migration developments that are done on cognos8 will not increase in the number since many prefer to directly get the cognos10 than cognos8 now.

Interestingly, Cognos Report Net still out weighs in the total number of projects that are undergoing.
