What is Cognos Report Net ? Why is it called Report Net?

Cognos Report Net is the previous version of Cognos Before IBM took it over. It is almost similar to that of Cognos8 report Studio. The only main difference in the Cognos report net and Cognos 8 is the package wise goods we get while purchasing.  After IBM acquired the Cognos, it has added its already existing tools like powerplay,  Metrics Manager, Decision stream, Metrics Manger etc. including our Report Net which is other wise called as Cognos Report Studio in Cognos 8 BI.

How does it look like?

The typical Report studio looks like this.
