How to deploy Cognos Portal to Other portals?

If you work on Different Portals or your business requires to integrate cognos and other softwares, You might stumble at deploying cognos portlets into different portals.
You can deploy the Cognos portlets to the following portals as given in the tutorials in this site.
IBM WebSphere 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, and 6.1
  • SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0, 6.4, 7.0 and 7.1
  • Oracle WebCenter Interaction Portal Server 10.3
  • Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003
  • Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2007 and 2010
If you want to use the ReportNet® 1.1 portlets in IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, you may need to upgrade them.
By default, the root name of file paths in the portlets is Cognos. You can change the root name.
As an additional security measure, you can disable the mechanism to transfer the IBM Cognos passport ID as a URL parameter between users' browsers and the IBM Cognos gateway.
After you deploy the portlets, you can enable single signon between the portlets and your portal.

Note:
  1. In SAP Enterprise Portal, portlets are named iViews. This document may refer to iViews as portlets.
  2. In Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, portlets are named Web Parts. This document may refer to Web Parts as portlets.
