So, I guess You all had enough of theory knowledge by going through the previous tutorials and now eager to start the reporting. So lets start attacking the Business Objects. First lets create a table the basic block of any reporting or business tool.
To those of you who missed the previous post, Table is simply like an excel spreadsheet which has rows and columns. Each row represents a record and each column represents an element or a field. A typical table looks like this.

Step by step tutorial on How to Create a table in Business Objects:
Click on Insert table in the businessobjects report toolbar.
Note that you have to make a rectangle by Clicking where you want the top left hand corner of the block to appear, then drag to make a rectangle.
Now, Select the elements or fields of your choice from the select objects pane as seen in below image and fill the table.
Now, your report is ready. All you have to do is to just save the report and run it. To run the report just use the Run button available there or press F5.
So, Your first table report is done and you can proceed with other tutorials. Go find yourself another tutorial waiting in this site.
